MEDDPICC Scorecard
A MEDDPICC Scorecard gives every qualification dimension a position and the line that earned it — the quotation, with who said it and when. A dimension nobody has answered gets no sentence at all, only the fact that it is open. It ends with the CRM update written out field by field, so the scorecard and the admin are one job.
When you reach for it
Friday morning, before anybody asks you where it stands.
What's in it
Every block this artifact writes, in the order it writes them. One of them is set out in full below, on a real deal — the rest are named and nothing else, because a block filled in to look good on a marketing page is the one thing this product refuses to do.
Size, stage and close date
M — the numbers the buyer cares about
E — who signs, and have you met them
Where it stands
Not on the ladder
What that rests on
Mentioned once, by somebody else, for nineteen seconds. Never spoken to.
No source in 3 calls and 1 email thread
D — what they're comparing you against
D — how they'll get to a decision
P — where the paperwork stands
I — the pain, and whose it is
C — your champions, one by one
C — who else is in the running
Where the deal really stands
Your CRM paste
The filled block is Halden Freight, the deal the home page works, read off 3 calls and 1 email thread and nothing else. The other blocks are named here and left empty on purpose.
