Thursday’s questions
Top Questions to Ask
Draft1. Ask this first: Who holds the discretionary budget and final commercial authority to sign off on replacing the current carrier tracking setup? Why: Focus Area 1 (Economic Buyer) is an open gap. Marta Reiss and Owen Blake run operations, but we have not identified the single person with sign-off authority. Asking this first names the person so the next question can establish how that person gets contracts approved. Good response: A specific person named by name and title, with confirmation of their authority over this spend. What to do with the answer: Record the name, title, and budget threshold in MEDDPICC. Ask Marta to confirm what this person personally expects from operations this year. 2. Once that person approves a change, what specific legal, security, and procurement steps must happen before a contract is signed, and who leads each stage? Why: Focus Area 2 (Paper Process) is completely unmapped. Knowing the review sequence prevents late-stage legal or security stalls. Good response: Specific named owners for procurement, legal, and infosec reviews, with typical turnaround times for each. What to do with the answer: Map each stage into the deal timeline and calculate total paper process duration back from the target signature date.
The follow-up
Customer Email Draft
DraftHi Marta, Thanks for the time today. Two people on your night desk spend their shifts chasing carrier exceptions and phoning carriers when updates arrive late or go missing. Updates are not checked automatically against the shipment plan. That falls under Owen Blake's systems area. Your current contract auto-renews at the end of January, with what you think is ninety days' notice required to make a change. What time works for you next week to connect with Owen and walk through how this fits into your operations?

Sample deal · one evening
See the whole evening, from the call that went well to the questions for Thursday.
Halden Freight is a sample deal we wrote to show the work: the company, the people and the calls are made up, and every view in the walkthrough is what SalesWolf made of them.

It works for the rep, and nobody else.
No CRM sync.
The scorecard ends with the CRM update written out field by field, for you to paste.
No manager view.
No dashboard, no roll-up, no count by rep.
Never uploaded.
Your file is read in your browser and never uploaded. The text stays with the deal until you delete the deal, and is removed from the database 90 days after that.
$49 / €49
A month, per person. One plan with every artifact on every deal, and nothing held back for a higher tier. The first 14 days are free, with no card.
PricingWhat do I have to connect?
Nothing. There is no CRM to wire up and no bot that joins your calls — you paste the transcript you already have, or drop the file, which is read in your own browser.
Is my manager going to see this?
Only if they hold a seat in your workspace. Deals are shared with your teammates by default, and you can make any deal private to you; its account and the people on it stay shared. Even with a seat there is no manager view: no dashboard, no roll-up, no count by rep.
Why not just paste the call into a chat assistant?
It will summarise the hour well, and that is worth something. What it will not do is keep the deal — a marked ledger you come back to next week with the blanks still blank and the questions still to ask.
What do I do about the blanks?
Open one and tell SalesWolf what you know. It reads what is already on the deal, asks about the rest, and proposes what it heard as facts you accept or turn down. It also suggests questions to take back to the buyer, and a blank nobody has answered stays blank.
I don’t run MEDDPICC formally. Is this for me?
Nothing here asks you to run it. Each dimension is written as something you either can or cannot say after a call — who signs, what the number is, what is actually pulling the deal — and the acronym is only the label on the result.
Try it on the deal you have open right now.
